What I Wore Today

Hello! I haven't been on awhile. I'd like to share this outfit that I wore today at a free dress day at my academy. The outfit wasn't overly dressy, yet understated for the occasion. I got compliments as a bonus(: Before you keep on scrolling because well- it has leather, two key parts, too. First of all, leather doesn't equal biker. It's continually becoming a staple in the closet and more and more popular. The delicate accessories in this outfit balances out the ruggedness of the jacket and boot and completes the outfit nicely, giving a feminine touch. The shirt is very soft and comfortable, and the jeans are nice and versatile. The jacket is perfect- it's not too light nor heavy, and really sets the mood. The complimentary boots are a nice balance between ankle boots and heavier styles; the height is not trashy. I encourage you this holiday season to branch out try some versatile leather pieces- I think you'd like the results!
